Award winning photographer Susanna MacKenzie Euston of Natural Expressions in Photography & Design LLC brings her love of nature and places, her sense of aesthetics and design, and old and new technical skills to create beautiful images of the natural evnironment — flowers, waterfalls, rivers and landscapes — and the built environment, in urban and rural settings. Photography is her passion; attention to detail in all aspects of the process — from taking the photograph to printing — brings her images to light.

Time spent as a child, watching her father’s beautiful images appear magically on paper in his darkroom, continues to inspire and inform her love of photographic expression. Following what became an informal “apprenticeship,” coupled with formal studies, she specialized in black and white photography and darkroom.

After her years of traditional 35mm and large format photography, including chemical photographic processing work, Susanna turned to and mastered digital technologies. Today her images are shot with high resolution digital cameras. The digital photographs are processed on a Mac using Lightroom 2 and Adobe Photoshop CS4.

The final archival, fine art prints are matted with museum quality mat board using conservation mounting techniques.
