This section of the web site is dedicated to the memory of Perry Slocum, 1913-2004, founder of Perry's Water Gardens.
I loved visiting Perry's Water Gardens. As a photographer, I especially loved photographing what he created in those 13 acres.
On nearly every trip to Perry's I would have the pleasure of visiting with him. I can remember the first time I saw him, at the age 89,
standing out in the middle of one of his ponds, working with his beloved flowers.
The majority of these photographs were taken at this magical place.
